TreeFest with Little Big Twang - Sunday, November 10, 2024

TreeFest is Bartlett Arboretum’s annual celebration of The Great Outdoors. And our last event before we close for the season. (We have 40,000 tulips to plant and 40 zillion leaves to rake!)

A picture-perfect day is forecasted for Sunday, November 10. Bartlett’s century-old tree canopy will be in peak color. Tree professionals are planning to be on hand to answer questions and laude the wonderful world of arboriculture. Hardy Kansas trees for sale, $50, courtesy of Hillside Nursery: Oaks, Maples, Sycamores, and Loblolly Pines.

Arboretum steward, Robin Macy, along with Annie Friesen will lead tours “Tall Tree Tales” at 10 AM, NOON and 2 PM.

Our own arb market, filled with taters, is also on the menu - available at noon along with a few fabled vendors.

Plus Robin Macy will croon some Tree Tunes in the depot for the first 50 folks at 4 PM. Y'all come. Also available in the depot: homegrown and homemade tater soup supper, $5.

$ at the gate.

Wee ones free if under wing.
